NomadsIII vs DeA Tigers development

Kicked off at 13:30 in Happy Valley, NomadsIII managed to get the right number just in time. Temperature was good and grass condition was perfect for some serious rugby. The whole game was taken by NomadsII Captain Wosen who led the Grand Champ in 2006 -2008. Players who turned up for the match should have had learned and felt the different from the 1st match.

Starting team was different from the training and due to the players injured and reliability plus time management was poor, therefore we warmed up and played in different combination and switch players in different position. On the other word, organization is still very poor indeed.

1st half kicked off. Good started as there were some big tackled being made by Frankie Jay and Emile. Massive Improvement was proved by the twins, forward clear the ruck well, NomadsIII played so much better than the 1st match. However we didn’t switch on well enough, and line out was one of the main problem, too many excused and not cooperated well and communication well enough. We have strong runner like Ar Fa, Alfred, and some GZ boys, but again we didn’t play as a team, I see people run the ball by themselves, clear the ruck by themselves and tackle by themselves. Communication means listen, and act at the same time, not telling your partner or your team mate in what you think is right to do! Too many opinions and leaders! Only one captain on the pitch and we shall all listen to the leader, this is how we usually play and what sport teams normally do. 10 – 0 to DeA in the 1st 40mins half.

2nd half was better as I could see players were being more awake and played more aggressive, therefore we kept playing in their half for at least 20mins and we kept trying to make a try in every penalty. We made some effort together and worked together, therefore we manage to score one try by Ivan. Team morale raised up and we wanted to win so badly, however it was too late to wake up and individuals fitness dropped, Forward started getting lose in everything, players started walking around and we have had to roll out in lots of substitute.

Backs never give up, Tiger, Noise, Ka Ho, Wosen, Ben and Twins played smart, calm and fast! Overall the whole performance was so much better. Please don’t get too concentrated on about the score as long as you enjoy playing together and had fun together, this is what NomadsIII is about. Final scored 24-0 lost.
